This is at a local 'wet market' near us. They sell fresh fruit and vegetables - and fresh meat. You pick the duck, chicken, rabbit, etc and they kill and dress it for you while you wait. Our good Chinese friend, Lisa, is doing the translating.
There is something about raw meat that is processed in a rough environment that makes you wonder. I wish I had a video of them throwing a chicken into that cylindrical machine. It goes in as a dead chicken and comes out featherless. It is spun around and these springs tear out the feathers. A miracle of technology.
