Masks are sold everywhere. PM2.5 are the dangerous particles that do serious health damage. They are small enough to get deep into your lungs and even into your bloodstream. I don't think the masks help. We have a HEPA air purifier in our apartment that runs 24/7. I get a runny nose and sore throat when I'm outsde on bad days.
