I made good use of my $200 underwater camera this year (2008). The camera was mounted to a telescopic pole (max depth 16’.) On top of the pole I mounted a Canon camcorder that recorded the signal from the camera (AV In) The pole also had a mount that allowed me to clip it to the gunnel. The camera itself was powered by a 12v marine battery in the boat. This is five minutes of video from the couple of hours of recording that I did during the week.
